By giving to Project WisHope, a nonprofit Recovery Community Organization, you are creating an opportunity for individuals in our community to turn their life around. This means transforming hopelessness, incarceration and homelessness into a life filled with hope, purpose, and integrity.

Project WisHope is a 501 (C3) non-profit, peer-run Recovery Community Organization located in the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas and serving the state of Wisconsin.

Our mission is to provide resources, education, advocacy, and peer support to Wisconsin’s recovery community members, including those directly impacted by addiction and mental health conditions and their family members, friends and allies.

We are committed to inspiring our recovery community members to become change agents within their communities by empowering each person to know that recovery is possible and that their story has the power to create positive and long-lasting change for themselves and others.

We are led by a team of professionals who are in long-term recovery, too, and we are passionate about providing innovative, evidence-based programs and services to meet the needs of our Wisconsin families and communities. We embrace all pathways to recovery and have served thousands of Wisconsin’s recovery community members since opening our doors in 2016.

Our Services

Recovery Community Centers

Project WisHope operates two drop-in centers in Waukesha and Waupaca. Our drop-in centers offer a safe, sober social environment where individuals can attend all recovery meetings, receive job placement assistance, access peer recovery coaching services and more.

Peer Recovery Coaching

Our Peer Recovery Coaches provide individuals with support, mentorship, advocacy resources, recovery wellness planning, trauma-informed care, education, and more. As individuals with lived experience with addiction and recovery and/or co-occurring mental health conditions, our coaches have been there and understand. How can we help you with your recovery today?

Recovery Housing

Project WisHope supervises and manages a variety of structured and safe recovery houses throughout Wisconsin. Our recovery houses offer cost-effective support and ensure a sober environment so individuals can access recovery services during and after addiction.

CCAR Recovery Coach Training

Our CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© is a 5-day intensive training academy focused on providing individuals who are interested in becoming certified recovery coaches with the skills needed to guide and mentor anyone seeking support for drug and/or alcohol addiction.
