The Project WisHope Community Has Your Back

5 Ways the Project WisHope Community Has Your Back

Feel Good Friday. Recovery never has to happen alone and the Project WisHope Community was built with that in mind. This Friday, let’s take a minute to name exactly what that support looks like.

1. Three Recovery Community Centers, Close to Home

Project WisHope operates drop-in Recovery Community Centers in Waukesha, Beloit, and Baraboo. These are peer-run spaces built for connection, not clinical appointments. Places to walk in, be around people who get it, and build the kind of social network that actually supports long-term recovery. And meetings at these centers aren’t limited to one approach. AA, NA, SMART Recovery, and faith-based recovery meetings all have a home here. Whatever pathway fits you, there’s a meeting built around it, and a consistent place to keep showing up.

2. A Calendar Full of Ways to Connect

Beyond meetings, Project WisHope runs full community calendars that includes tons of social events, training sessions for Narcan administration, and Recovery Basics for Parents, and more across all three centers. Checking the calendar regularly means you’re never far from something to plug into.

3. A 24-Hour Line When You Need It Most

Support doesn’t run on a 9-to-5 schedule, and neither does Project WisHope’s peer-run resource and support hotline. It’s there around the clock for anyone in Wisconsin who needs behavioral health resources, day or night. (262) 701-7257

4. More Than Meetings — Real Pathways Forward

Job training, job placement assistance, and more through peer recovery coaching round out what these centers offer. Recovery support here isn’t just emotional. It’s practical, aimed at helping people build a stable life alongside a stable recovery.

High Fives of Support

5. Support in Your Pocket, Anywhere in Wisconsin

Not everyone lives near a center, and support shouldn’t stop at a zip code. The Recovery180 app  puts a recovery coach a text, call, or video chat away, free and available statewide. It also includes a resource map, so finding help nearby is as easy as opening an app.

The Truth Behind All Five

None of this replaces professional treatment or your own personal support system. It’s meant to stand alongside those things, not instead of them. But on the days when you need to know you’re not doing this completely alone, these centers, their meetings, and their calendar are built to remind you of that.
